Where are you located?
The studio address is 1498 Hatchie Street Brownsville, TN 38012.
If you type in Samantha Brown Photography in Google Maps it will lead you directly to the studio.
When should I book?
While I try to accommodate every inquiry. My calendar does fill up weeks to months in advance especially during the late summer through holiday season. It is best to book as early as possible. I only shoot Tuesday- Saturday. Weekdays are more likely to be available than Saturdays.
When should I book a newborn session?
It is best to book as soon as possible for your newborn session. I schedule newborn sessions according to your due date. I do understand babies will come when they are ready, so don't worry that date is flexible. Once your baby is born please contact me so I can get you scheduled as soon as possible. Newborn sessions are best when scheduled 5-14 days after birth. These sessions are only photographed during the weekdays (Tuesday-Friday mornings). Sessions are scheduled at either 10:30 am or 11:00 am and will take place in my studio.

What to expect when you are ready to book:
Once we have spoken about a date that works best for you. A client agreement will need to be signed and your retainer paid to secure your date. Next is to anxiously wait for your session date!
When is payment due?
A $100 non-refundable retainer is required to book any session. The retainer will go towards your session fee and the remainder is due the day of your session. SBP accepts debit/credit cards, checks and cash*.
*Please note if you are paying in cash, please have exact change.
Do you only shoot certain times of the day?
For most in studio sessions I schedule the sessions between 10:30 am- 6:00pm. For outdoor sessions I will not shoot mid day, these sessions must be done at sunrise or later afternoon and closer to sunset.
When will I receive my gallery?
Clients will receive a proof gallery shortly after their session date. These proof galleries are slightly retouched. Clients will select their favorites. Once you have submitted your favorite selection to me, I will get to work on your final gallery. Final galleries take 3 weeks* to process. You will receive an email with your online gallery link once your images are ready to view and download.
*At times they may be done quicker. During the busy fall & holiday season they may take a bit longer.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No. You are given a print release to your high resolution gallery. You may print on your own or you may choose to order prints through me. I can recommend several printing labs for personal use.
Do you offer mini Sessions?
Yes. But not all the time. Mini Sessions are scheduled events through out the year and limited. Minis are typically designed setups for children but I try to have at least 1-2 setups for families.
Do you offer Payment Plans?
Yes, I offer Payment Plans on the "Grow with Me" Milestone Packages.
A $100 non-refundable retainer is required to book any session or package. The retainer will only be required for the "Grow With Me" Packages once when booking. Please hit the contact me button to let me know if you would like to discuss a payment plan.
Are props provided?
For the Newborn Sessions:
All fabrics, props and outfits are provided by SBP for the session.
You will be able to choose poses, colors and props before your session.
For Milestone Sessions:
Props are provided for by SBP and some outfits will be available depending on the size. Bringing 2-3 outfits is recommended. You will be able to choose props before your session.
Cake Smash Sessions:
Props are provided for by SBP and some outfits will be available depending on the size. Bringing 2-3 outfits is recommended. A custom cake smash setup will be designed for your theme.
